Biography
Javad Rouhi was a 35-year-old protester arrested in Nowshahr during the 'Woman, Life, Freedom' uprising. Despite the Supreme Court overturning his triple death sentence months earlier, he remained in prison under uncertain conditions until his suspicious death in custody on August 31, 2023. He is buried in Amol, where his family continues to hold memorial ceremonies in his honor.
جواد روحی معترض ۳۵ سالهای بود که در جریان خیزش «زن، زندگی، آزادی» در نوشهر بازداشت شد. علیرغم نقض حکم سه بار اعدام او در دیوان عالی کشور در ماههای پیش از مرگ، او همچنان در وضعیت بلاتکلیف در زندان به سر میبرد تا اینکه در ۹ شهریور ۱۴۰۲ به شکلی مشکوک در زندان نوشهر جان باخت. پیکر او در آمل به خاک سپرده شده است.
